Time to Prepare for fall and winter. Read on below.....

Tis the season for Project Shifting....Read on below.....

Tropical Plant Wintering....Read on below.....

Time marches on and it is time to lay aside serveral projects and concentrate on digging up and potting the Moringa Trees (2 that are about 3-4 feet tall) and the Bananna tree which is about 8 feet tall out of the ground and burried at least 3-4 feet in the ground. Also see more on the Moringa Tree and why it is so important for your awareness at "SandSpringsOK Moringa" on Facebook as a group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/SandSpringsOKMoringa/ . That will mean re-arranging my office to accomodate one Moringa Tree and the Bananna Tree. If I wait for the average temperature between night and day to get too low or a night when the temperature gets below 40 then it is too late that these two tropical type plants will not forgive me. Tropical Plant Experience and Planning....Read on below.....

I took the advise of an experienced expert landscaper to bury the Bananna trees (2 out of 3 of them) 4 feet deep last at least counting the mulch to have them survive and re-grow from the ground up next spring but they did not survive the freeze periods we had last winter. The smallest one which was born from one of the 2 that I got 2 years ago from a root off-shoot, grew large and I wintered it live in my office last winter is all that is left from the 2 that Larry Lawrence gave me in winterized form 3 years ago. I have been raising Moringa Trees from seeds for that 2 years now and I gave several to friends to winter live in their greenhouses. Teresa Franklin wintered 2 for me and Helen Hickey tried but her grandchildren left the door to her greenhouse open and that killed the tropical plant she was wintering unfortunately. Bees....Read on below.....

I have about 32 beehive boxes to finish with assembly and wax-propolis coating that have to bee suspended to concentrage on the trees. I will immediately concentrate back to the ongoing underground greenhouse for the other moringa tree and take that potted version to it and add some heating for it to winter for a second try to winter in the experimental Tree Hole down in the garden I have been digging deeper and better this time. I am working on a door and I will probably put a lot of extra temporary clear plastic over it to give it more insulation this try. Last year the Moringa Tree I planted in it with David Langston did not make it through the freeze. Everything esle in the "Hole" did great (grass and turnips) without any water or added heat. This year I will have a door to access the plant to check on water and heat added when needed. Read on below.....

Tree Trimming....Read on below.....

I will suspend all the tree trimming too to take time to finish the winterization projects here. I will continue on the bee and underground (other) greenhouses and repair on my mini-greenhouse soon after I get these tropical plants bedded down and secure from the temperature average drop to come soon. I plan to continue trimming for solar reasons (more light for the plants under them) and to prepare for some bee hive platforms in the trees - a concept I plan to introduce next season - another fun and interesting experiment that I am sure many will find fun and interesting to follow. Solar....Read on below.....

To get you up to speed locally, see the Facebook Group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/SandSpringsOKSolarCoop/ for the "SandSpringaOKSolarCo-op" or Sand Springs OK Solar Co-op group. I have sereral other goups for Solar but this is my local one that I should post too first. I have solar projects planned but not till I find some 400 watt panels and can continue matching them up with the plug and play grid tie inverters that I am also trying to find to handle the power for my PlugInPlay designs on the drawing board and to continue with the existing working PlugInPlay designs that are build and working just fine now. Seed Saving - Storage - Preparation for Spring Planting....Read on below.....

Yes, it is also time to collect seeds soon and prepare for another season for planting in the Breisch Gardens here too. Read on below.....

Website & Links....Read on below.....

I have had a lot of help recently from my son, Robert, and my friend, Justin Bradley Farrow to get the new website launched for the garden, farming, solar, and bee products that will compliment the old website. We still need Facebook to show a banner for the grow.gbreisch.com site like the www.gbreisch.com site. I was told that the www is not needed for the grow.gbreisch.com site but Facebook does not know that yet and we will have to come up with a workaround for it or something till we can get it to pop up automatically with some sort of banner. The Images

I have many pix and images for the subject and many groups for these and many more interest categories. The two images attached with this post are for Moringa Nutician and a pic of the PlugInPlay testing setup here over 2 years ago. If you are not already listed in my friend list, take time to send me a request and I will probably approve it within a day and then we can network with these interests or I can create a group for what interests you and we can help each other spread the good news of our interests to help motivate and inspire others to positive progress to benefit all we meet here and along life's pathway. Decide to Be Happy, Have Fun and Get Lots Done and BEE AWARE too. That is it for now.......End of Post.
